I Beg To Fall In Love With Thee My Lord

As I was browsing the net about two days ago, and while preparing my report to our Provincial Superior, I just have happened to have chanced upon two songs that eventually moved me, one of which is a song that was derived from a translated Poem of St. Therese entitled "My Song of Today ~ St.Therese of Lisieux" and the other was a song composed by Arnel DC. Aquino, SJ, "I beg to fall in love with Thee my Lord."

I simply could not explain it plainly, but I fell in love with both songs, as soon as I heard them...

With my prayers and hope that you'll love it too, specially in times when we are in a position of losing hope, may these songs inspire as to move on, continually remembering the loving goodness of the God whom we believe and serve.

Inaalay ko

It has became a routine for my wife and I, since last month to turn on our Television every eight (8) in the morning and watch TV Masses every Sunday.

Normally both of us, looks for the Masses of Fr. Joey Paller and the Televised Mass Celebration at SM Mega Mall.

Since my family and I (with baby Miguel), attends Parish Sunday Masses every afternoon, we simply look-in and listen-to the Homilies of these Priest in TV masses as an additional inspiration.

For my part, I also make it as an opportunity to hear my favorite liturgical music that most of the time I can only listen too, during TV masses.

This morning I just happened to have chanced upon this song, which is by the way, the first time I ever heard of.

Guess what, being a natural born liturgical music lover (ehem), an offertory song got my attention.

So what I did is what I usually do whenever I hear a music that I love, search at youtube.

Eventually I was only able to find two (2) uploaded version sung by a choir. Since one of the uploaded version is a little bit distorted I've decided to embed on this post the one sung by a Diocesan Choir and uploaded by Heidi Halcon.

Here it is, I hope you like it and inspires you too, just the way it has inspired me.

My Offering to You My Lady

As the entire Catholic Church Celebrates your birth my Mother, take this simple and humble prayer that I wish to offer to you.

On the time that God has chosen to finally reveal His plan,

you said yes to His offer that allowed Him to show His love to all of us,

By your action you have not only redeemed all women from Eve's mistake,

but allowed the saving mercy of God to come to this world.

Take then this humble offering of mine,

Purify it with your Immaculate Heart,

and allow my son to fulfill what I have failed to do.

Through your Immaculate Heart,

make him worthy to become a humble servant

of your loving and Merciful Son, Jesus our Lord.

Amen.

Pagkakaibigan

Here's another song that simply made me cry one day when I was attending Mass at our Parish. From the Gospel of St. John 15.7-13. 

It simply hit me so much that I eventually cried during communion. Unselfishness, commitment, care... to love someone simply means being able to give oneself.


Dedicated to everyone who has learned to give love without necessary expecting anything in return, for people who have simply learned to give themselves in the service of others.

For those who have simply learned to give their own lives, so that others may live.

The Power of Your Love

This is one of the songs that simply makes me cry whenever it is sung in our Church.

A song that simply transformed my life, and became one of the reasons why I became a Secular Discalced Carmelites.

I simply hope that it will transform your life to as it has changed mine.
